Creating impact in the finance environment
At EY ifb, you work on challenging transformation projects for banks and insurance companies – ranging from regulatory issues to modern IT and SAP solutions. In interdisciplinary teams, you advise clients as a trusted partner and combine strategic thinking with effective execution. You take responsibility, continuously develop your professional profile, and work in a mid‑sized organisation with around 350 employees – offering short decision‑making paths, backed by the development opportunities and strength of the global EY network.
Your Responsibilities
- Leading sub-projects or projects for the implementation and customization of SAP Data Warehouse technologies (BW, BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, Datasphere, Business Data Cloud).
- Developing and implementing IT concepts that translate business requirements into an integrated system architecture.
- Handling technical and functional tasks across the entire project spectrum, including implementation.
- Building and further developing the subject area and expertise within the company.
- Client support and project acquisition at both national and international levels.
Your Skillset
- Excellent university degree in computer science, mathematics, or natural sciences, along with at least four years of experience in consulting or as an in-house consultant with a focus on SAP Data Warehousing.
- Comprehensive expertise in data warehousing, data modeling (multidimensional and relational), ETL, and reporting, as well as in-depth industry knowledge in financial services – complemented by programming skills and ideally experience in controlling, accounting, risk management, and project management.
- Strong German and English language skills, outstanding communication abilities, and willingness to travel are also required; international project experience is an advantage.
Your Mindset
- Agile: You believe that a flexible mindset is just as important for success as knowledge and skills.
- Curious: You are ambitious and committed. We are looking for people who see opportunities rather than challenges and who ask the right questions to find better solutions.
- Team-oriented: You value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in a team. We seek individuals who want to achieve great things together and create a trusting work environment.
Your Benefits
We create space for what matters to you – at work and beyond.
- You shape your daily work flexibly, with mobile working options, fair time tracking, and opportunities such as sabbaticals or job portability.
- Your health matters to us. With offerings focused on mental wellbeing, medical advice, and sports and fitness programmes, we help you stay balanced. We also support you during challenging phases of life – including assistance for families, caregiving responsibilities, and bereavement.
- And because development at EY ifb is no coincidence, we support you with structured onboarding, individual learning opportunities, and tailored programmes for your career development.
