Creating impact in the finance environment

You want to actively shape complex finance and risk topics and achieve real impact?
At EY ifb, you work on challenging transformation projects for banks and insurance companies – ranging from regulatory issues to modern IT and SAP solutions. In interdisciplinary teams, you advise clients as a trusted partner and combine strategic thinking with effective execution. You take responsibility, continuously develop your professional profile, and work in a mid‑sized organisation with around 350 employees – offering short decision‑making paths, backed by the development opportunities and strength of the global EY network.

What you can expect – enriching experiences that will last a lifetime

We are in an exciting environment where current societal issues such as sustainability and climate protection, cyber security, and AI, as well as the stabilization of the economic system through supervisory bodies like BaFin, EBA, ECB are addressed to financial institutions. Finding answers to these and being part of the solution motivates us. You will take responsibility in the following areas:
  • Consulting our clients from the financial sector on regulatory requirements and reporting at the national and European level
  • Support in the implementation of new compliance and reporting requirements and their integration into the processes and management of banks
  • Independent conduct of gap analyses and development of technical concepts as well as data transformations, clarification of data governance, and process flows
  • Support in testing and acceptance of risk and regulatory reporting applications, as well as handover and support of report creation, e.g., to regulatory authorities
  • Taking on (partial) project management, continuous commitment to optimizations, e.g., through digitalization solutions and GenAI

What you can contribute – skills for shaping the future

  • You have successfully completed a diploma or master's degree in economics or a comparable course of study, or have completed training in the banking sector
  • You have at least two years of experience in regulatory and supervisory-driven projects, have gathered expertise in compliance, regulation, reporting, and ideally have developed a connection to IT and data modeling
  • You possess very good German and English language skills and are willing to travel to our clients
