As one of the leading consultancies for compliance, finance and risk management, EY ifb provides banks and insurance companies worldwide with innovative services and the latest IT support. With our technical expertise and over 30 years of experience, combined with our ability to successfully implement, we are one of the most successful providers in this field

You want to make a difference? Do you have a precise eye and enjoy working in a team? Then EY ifb Consulting is the right place for you. Find a career with us that suits you, your personality and what you enjoy doing. It is important to us that everyone is accepted as they are. We live a connecting culture of and stand up for each other. Team play is part of our DNA.
From the very beginning, you will accompany EY ifb and develop yourself step by step. You start with the "New Joiner Program", in which you and other new joiners get to know the finance and insurance industry. Working in interdisciplinary teams, you'll get to see the bigger picture and build a strong network.
Afterwards, we will continue to invest in your sound training and further education, for example, with soft and hard skills workshops or our high potential program JUMP.
The global EY network is behind us and supports us. We draw on the knowledge and technology of the entire EY organization, thereby complementing our competencies and opportunities. For you, this means access to a global EY network of experts with many career and development opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

Our team supports clients in the financial sector in addressing demanding business and technical challenges. We analyze requirements related to finance, risk, data, and transformation, and pragmatically implement them in modern system solutions and clear processes. We work closely together as a team, stay connected to real‑world practice, and focus on current topics in the financial industry. You will start with a structured onboarding and New Joiner Training, where, together with other graduates, you will be introduced to business, methodological, and technological topics. You don’t need to know everything from day one - what matters most is your curiosity and willingness to grow. In our team, after comprehensive preparation through the New Joiner Program, you will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • You will work closely with experienced colleagues, receive feedback, learn quickly, and gradually take on more responsibility.
  • From the very beginning, you will be involved in consulting and transformation projects in the financial sector and take ownership of independent work packages (e.g., analysis, preparation of results).
  • You will analyze business, regulatory, and data‑related topics, structure findings, and present them clearly for project teams and clients.
  • You will contribute to the design and implementation of data and IT‑supported solutions, for example in the context of transformations, reporting, or steering topics.
  • You will apply methods, tools, and technologies in your day‑to‑day project work and gradually build your professional expertise step by step.

Your Skillset

  • A completed degree (Master’s or PhD) in an analytical or technical field such as the natural sciences (e.g., physics, mathematics) or economics/business studies (e.g., economics, business administration).
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, enjoyment in understanding complex matters, as well as enthusiasm for creative and independent work.
  • An affinity for technology and openness to new topics, combined with a high degree of flexibility and a willingness to contribute to dynamic project environments.

Your Mindset

  • Agile: You believe that a flexible mindset is just as important for success as knowledge and skills.
  • Curious: You are ambitious and committed. We are looking for people who see opportunities rather than challenges and who ask the right questions to find better solutions.
  • Team-oriented: You value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in a team. We seek individuals who want to achieve great things together and create a trusting work environment.

Your Benefits

We create space for what matters to you – at work and beyond. You shape your workday flexibly: with mobile working options, fair time tracking, and choices like sabbaticals or job portability. Your health is important to us: with programs for mental resilience, medical advice, and sports activities, you stay in balance. Even in challenging life phases, we stand by your side – with support for family, caregiving, and bereavement. And because development doesn’t happen by chance with us, we accompany you with structured onboarding, personalized training, and programs for your care
